Jim Ashby has been appointed as the new manager of Ramsgate Garden Centre.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the centre, which is located on Montefiore Avenue in Ramsgate.
Mr Ashby, 49, said: "I am delighted to have been appointed to this position and I am pleased to be joining the garden centre's team... I have been employed in the retail industry for most of my working life and I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience that will help me fulfil my new role at Ramsgate Garden Centre."
Prior to taking up his new post, Mr Ashby was manager of Elm Court Garden Centre.
Regional manager for The Garden Centre Group Paul Dye said: "I am pleased to welcome Jim to the team at Ramsgate Garden Centre and I am looking forward to working with him."
