New general manager for Crown Paints

Published: 5 October 2010
Crown Paints Limited has appointed a new general manager to head up its 110-strong network of Crown Decorating Centres in England, Scotland and Wales.
New general manager for Crown Paints
Craig Russell was formally operations director at Floors-2-Go and operations manager at the Homeform Group. He has also managed his own business, spending three years developing bed retailer The Bed Shed.

Crown Paints ceo Brian Davidson said Mr Russell's well-proven entrepreneurial skills and many years' experience at senior management level make him an ideal choice for the position of general manager.

He continued: "Add to these qualifications the fact that Craig has spent his entire career working closely with skilled tradesmen from different sectors of the market. He understands their needs and motivations and the way they like to operate, which is another very good reason why we believe he is the man to drive forward the ambitious long-term development plans we have for our national network of specialist decorating outlets."
