New estates director for The Garden Centre Group

Published: 27 January 2014
The Garden Centre Group (TGCG) has appointed a new estates director, Steve Masters, who takes up his role today.
Mr Masters joins the company from Gap, where he was most recently vice president international real estate, store development and strategic alliances. Prior to that, he was director of retail development with Asda Wal-Mart, and has previously had a number of senior roles in other well-known retailers including Thresher Group, Polo Ralph Lauren, The Walt Disney Company and Burton Group. In each case, he had responsibility for managing and developing a broad portfolio of retail sites.

TGCG ceo Kevin Bradshaw said: "Steve has an excellent track record and will be a great addition to The Garden Centre Group as we continue to expand our estate and invest in our existing centres."
