New ecommerce director for Wickes

Published: 13 August 2014
Wickes has recruited Lee Faetz as ecommerce director in a bid to develop its multichannel capabilities.
Mr Faetz was formerly global head of ecommerce at footwear supplier Fit Flop.

Wickes has a growing multichannel business, which holds its fair share of the online market, but the retailer believes there is an opportunity to grow sales further through this channel by adding more ranges.

The company introduced new web and mobile platforms during the year, aimed at offering customers a better online shopping experience. The retailer has also rolled out a click-and-collect service.
