New board member

Carpetright has appointed Darren Shapland to the board as an independent non-executive director.
Mr Shapland was group development director at J Sainsbury from July 2010 until he stepped down from the board, and was the company's chief financial officer from 2005 to 2010. He remains the chairman of Sainsbury's Bank.
Mr Shapland also held the position of group finance director at Carpetright between 2002 and 2005.
Carpetright chairman and chief executive Lord Harris of Peckham said: "I am delighted that Darren has agreed to join Carpetright's board as a non-executive director. He was an outstanding finance director when he was with us before and his subsequent success at Sainsbury's speaks for itself."
