National Buying Group starts the decade with new suppliers

Published: 14 February 2020 - John King

National Buying Group (NBG) is growing its roster in 2020 with the addition of 16 new suppliers. Almost half will bolster the Plumbing and Heating sector, with new suppliers also coming on board to strengthen the Landscaping, Kitchen and General Building categories.

The new plumbing and heating suppliers -– Aquadart, Atay Global Limited, Barco, Croydex Ltd, HRP Trade, Mark Vitow and Mereway Bathrooms – join NBG’s existing suppliers.

Boasting a range of products from shower enclosures and decorative radiators to bathroom furniture and plumbing and heating distribution, the new suppliers look set to support the Plumbing, Heating and Showrooms Category Management Team (CMT) as Partners grow their offer in 2020.

The leading supplier of garden pottery in the UK and Ireland Apta is joining the Civils and Landscaping CMT, while Milwaukee brings over 90 years of experience to supply power tools and accessories to the Tools and Workwear CMT.

The General Building CMT is also growing, with the addition of four new suppliers including independent cavity closers manufacturer ARC Building Solutions Ltd and distributor of construction chemicals Resapol. Also joining the team is Soudal, Europe’s leading distributor of sealants and adhesives and Visqueen Building Products, the market leader in the manufacture of damp-proofing systems.

Kitchen appliances distributor Swift Electrical Wholesalers Ltd joins the group as a key supplier in the sector along with kitchen furniture supplier Gower Furniture Ltd which will offer partners a ‘one box’ kitchen. Marble Building Products Ltd, suppliers of kitchen worktops completes the new additions to the Decorating, Hardware and Kitchen CMT.

Managing director at NBG, Nick Oates, said: “16 new Suppliers are joining NBG this year which is double the amount that we welcomed last year. We couldn’t think of a better way to mark the start of the decade than by bringing on some new and exciting products to give Partners a broader range to offer to their customers.

“We have an exciting year ahead for NBG, our Partners and our Suppliers. We’re looking forward to seeing how we can work together to get the best possible deals and support our Partners in continuing to grow their businesses.”
