Latest Christmas decoration trends revealed by Premier Decorations

Published: 25 March 2020 - Neil Mead

Rose gold and pink have seen the biggest rise in sales of Christmas trend colours over the past few seasons, and there seems to be no sign of it stopping – they are selling well again this year, and it certainly seems that once again that we have not had enough.

Premier Decortations’ Noel Romance theme encompasses a wide variety of pinks and rose golds, complimented with lilacs, golds and creams to enrich the theme. This will work particularly well in rooms that have been decorated in grey, blue and white, a previous home décor trend, as it will soften and highlight the deeper décor tones.

Premier Decorations hasn’t stopped at tree decorations either, it has expanded other ranges to include pink and in particular, it has a great range of battery operated, pre-lit, fibre optic wing angels in pink and white colours, which are proving to be a great hit with our customers. They come in a range of four sizes, including standing, and sitting with dangly legs that would make a great night light for children’s bedrooms.

Silver Harmony is proving to be a winner again for this year, silver has overtaken gold as the main metallic colour for Christmas for the fifth year running, it is so versatile, and will complement any existing colour palette in your home. This year, Premier Decorations has mixed it with crystals, greys and whites, but, of course, blues, purples and dark teals are great to tone in, to give a bit of depth in colour, and of course, would complement the grey-blue décor colour schemes once again.

Winter Forest is where Premier Decorations has blended soft greens with white, and rustic brown tones, to give a winter outdoor feel to the theme. White is always a popular colour choice for Christmas. Like silver, it will complement and harmonise with any of other Christmas colour scheme, giving a softer feel, but, when mixed with soft green, gives a fresher, brighter feel. It works particularly well on darker green trees, or flocked trees, to enhance the snowy, wintery feel.

Whilst silver still outsells gold, as the main metallic, there is always room for gold in most Christmas décor schemes. Golden radiance encompasses all shades of gold, dark, bright and champagne golds mix with silver, ivory, white and clear decorations to give a truly opulent feel to this enduring Christmas trend.

Midwinter Dream is Premier Decorations’ collection of deep blues, purples and teals, along with darker greys and a hint of silver, this is an easy theme to mix any of the metallics into, or keep it dark and moody to give a rich opulent look to your Christmas décor.

Traditional colours still feature in the Cosy Cabin theme, reds, deeper golds and green are found here, and will easily mix with the Children’s theme, North Pole, to give a truly nostalgic Christmas colour mix.

Finally, Christmas Cracker gives a fun, bright, eclectic mix of decorations, to mix and match with any colour scheme. Either tone up, or tone down existing trims. Vibrant pinks, blues, teal and greens work well together, or can be mixed with metallics, or whites to give anyone with a creative colour palette chance to have some fun.

However you see your Christmas for 2020, Premier Decorations certainly has the colours to help you create your perfect scheme.
