Amefa has announced that John Horton, previously of Arthur Price, has taken up the post of managing director with immediate effect.
Mr Horton is tasked with building the Richardson brand into a "global leader".
Speaking of his appointment Mr Horton said: "There is a rich heritage associated with both the Richardson Sheffield and Amefa brands, as well as a future just bursting with market leading opportunities."
