JG Speedfit to be headline sponsor for bike racer

JG Speedfit issponsoring Newcastle-based bike racer Joe Burns in the Mezeler Superstock 1000 National Championship in April this year.
The biker will hit the circuits riding a Kawasaki Zx10R in his first full season after sitting out most of 2012 recovering from an operation.
JG Speedfit's UK director of sales Mike Riseley said: "We are delighted to support Joe in 2013. We have enjoyed significant success with sponsorship in the British Touring Car Champtionship (BTCC) and plan to do the same in motorcycle racing. Joe is clearly a talented rider who will be a great brand ambassador for Speedfit."
Joe Burns said: "This is a great opportunity to show what I can do on track and to provide John Guest with the exposure and promotion they want, I am looking forward to a great season [of] racing."
Joe Burns' motorcycle racing career includes participation in the British 1000 Superstock Championship from 2010 to 2012, being part of the British 600 Superstock Championship in 2008 and 2009 and being part of the North East Motorcycle Racing Club from 2004 to 2006.
