Grange names new managing director

Garden structures and fencing supplier Grange has appointed Neil Taylor as its new managing director following the retirement of Duncan Hill.

Mr Taylor has a 33-year track record in sales, marketing and general management in the automotive components, refrigerated transport and fire and security industries in the UK and internationally. He was most recently with Halma plc, following 13 years with United Technologies Corporation where he was latterly managing director of Chubb Fire.

He has an MBA from Henley Management College as well as an MA in European Marketing Management.

Commenting on his new role at Grange, Mr Taylor said he was looking forward to "evolving the company to its full potential through strategic development, employee engagement and an increased emphasis on sales and marketing.

"There are some very exciting opportunities ahead for both Grange and its customers, which will come to fruition within the next two to three years."
