Grand Illusions launches retail website

Published: 10 January 2019 - Fiona Garcia

The garden and homeware brand has announced the launch of its new website, where consumers can easily browse and purchase items from the range.

The website has been transformed to help consumers navigate more easily and explore the collection, which includes home and garden products, as well as own-brand paint and decorating sundries. It is the first time the company has been able to offer pots of its Grand Illusions Vintage Paint for purchase online by consumers.

The website is a more responsive platform for consumers and offers a full brand experience as part of Grand Illusions’ new identity, which also includes a new contemporary logo. This easy to navigate layout sees new engaging content and elevated product imagery, which will be integrated within its digital offering and better optimised for mobile devices making it easier than ever to shop the range.

Grand Illusions director Dan Haysom said: “The upgrade of our site comes at a critical time in our development of the company. As we continue to grow as a business, we wanted to create a seamless online shopping experience that reflects our brand for our loyal customers and new admirers. This new site will make buying Grand Illusions products enjoyable, easy and stress-free for consumers.”

Grand Illusions started life as a bricks-and-mortar store selling home and garden goods in Twickenham, Middlesex, launching its own-brand Vintage Paint in the 1990s to meet the booming demand for chalk based furniture paint. In 2012 the business became part of the Virginia Hayward Group of companies, which saw it explore new product areas and bring its Vintage Paint back to the market with increased gusto, expanding the range over the years.
