Five million and two workers inspire new branding

Published: 19 June 2026 - DIY Week

Leicestershire based, multi award winning, Three Bees Spirits, part of the B Corp Market Harborough Honey Company, today announces the arrival of their newly designed bottles, specifically engineered to enhance appeal to the retail, wholesale, hospitality and direct to consumer markets by replicating the shape of their key workers – five million bees!

The new bottle has been intentionally designed with inspiration taken from the natural form of a bee and the ethos behind THREE BEES - Botanicals, Balance & Bees. Much like a bee, the bottle is tall, slender, and elegant in appearance, with a carefully balanced shape that feels both purposeful and refined.

The narrowed central profile subtly mirrors the segmented form of a bee’s body, whilst the elongated silhouette creates a sense of movement, precision, and sophistication. The design was created to stand proud on a shelf, instantly differentiating itself from wider, shorter traditional spirit bottles. Its slim profile gives a more premium and contemporary appearance whilst also improving presence in both retail and hospitality environments. The heavier weighted base provides stability and substance, reinforcing the premium nature of the spirit inside. Every element of the shape has been carefully considered to reflect the three brand foundations - exceptional botanicals, natural balance, and a deep connection to bees and biodiversity.

This rebrand (introducing the new custom bottle), is being further boosted by the introduction of QRCodes powered by GS1 with the aim of supporting Three Bees move into larger retail and wholesale channels. Each QR code links to a dedicated e-label on the Three Bees website, giving retail, wholesale, hospitality and consumer buyers clear, focused product information without having to navigate through broader brand content.

Operations Director, Thomas Dun, comments: “Since unveiling the new THREE BEES branding, the response from customers, retailers, and industry contacts has been overwhelmingly positive. People immediately connect with the natural inspiration behind the design, from the elegant bottle shape through to the finer details that reflect our roots in beekeeping, botanicals, and the environment. Customers regularly comment that the new presentation not only feels premium and distinctive but also captures the authenticity and craftsmanship behind the spirits themselves. For us, it was important that the branding told a story about nature, provenance, and quality, and we are incredibly pleased to see how strongly that message is resonating with people.”

Founded by Thomas and Julie Lamble-Dun in 2019, the company’s Three Bees Spirits range of products now encompasses 4 gins and 2 rums.   To date, the spirits have gained 22 awards including IWSC Golds. Their best-selling spirit, Raspberry and Elderflower Gin, contains 100% natural ingredients, hand pressed with the finest botanicals, presenting as an impeccable gin with exquisite floral notes enhanced with a small drop of their award-winning honey.

In terms of its ethos - ‘what you make should be what you stand for’ the company has joined 1% for the Planet – this is a global network of businesses and individuals who commit to donating at least 1% of annual sales directly to environmental causes.
