Dunlop appoints new account manager

Adhesives and grout manufacturer Dunlop has appointed David Riddell as national account manager.

Mr Riddell will help drive awareness of the Dunlop brand and increase sales with builders merchants and tradesmen as part of his new role. Having worked for five years with Knauf Drywall Ltd as national account controller for retail operations and merchant activity, Mr Riddell has more than 15 years experience in managing national accounts for a variety of commercial business.

The new position will involve key account management, liaising with existing clients and progressing sales opportunities with prospective customers.

Dunlop Adhesives brand manager Debi Bailey said: "The Dunlop brand is highly valued by our customer base and so it is of vital important that we maintain a quality relationship with both our retailers and consumers moving forward.

"David's appointment will not only help to further profile our iconic brand, but also maintain its esteem with the loyal customers we have attracted over the years. Here at Dunlop, we have every confidence that David's impressive industry experience will help to achieve just that."

Mr Riddell added: "Dunlop is a recognised brand throughout the UK and beyond for producing quality adhesives, grouts, finishing and ancillary products; it is this that first attracted me to the position.
