Dunelm creates 100 Chelmsford jobs at Clock Tower retail park

Published: 2 October 2017 - Kiran Grewal

Dunelm, one of the UK’s leading homewares retailer, will be moving into the new Clock Tower Retail Park in Chelmsford in December, creating 100 new jobs as part of the move.

The new 30,500 sq. ft. store at the former Britvic factory site will feature a separate mezzanine floor and a Pausa cafe.

The new store, open seven days a week, will stock homewares, furniture and garden products from favourite household names such as Dorma, Fogarty, Joseph Joseph and Brabantia, plus designs from Dunelm’s own exclusive Elements and Hotel brands.

Area manager for Dunelm Chelmsford, Markos Kazittis, said: “We are looking forward to becoming a new neighbour to the Chelmsford community.

"There is a strong retail offering within the town but we’ve spotted a gap in the market for Dunelm’s extensive collection of homewares and hope we can cater for the diverse range of shoppers within the community.”
