Jo Coomber has joined Dobbies Garden Centres as its new director of marketing.
Ms Coomber was formerly with Standard Life, where she was head of marketing communications and group brand. Winner of Marketer of the Year at the Marketing Society Scotland Star Awards in 2011, her previous experience also includes marketing roles with Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications and the Financial Times.
Joining Dobbies in July, she commented: "I'm attracted by Dobbies' vision to become the UK's leading garden retailer and the critical role that marketing will play in helping Dobbies achieve this goal."
