I just thought I would put pen to paper to inform you that Mr Ron Walton the representative of TOR coatings, formally Blackfriars Paints and varnishes has decided to retire after 29 years of service.
Ron has been and will always be remembered as Mr Blackfriars in the south Wales valleys, his enthusiasm for the job was second to none, I can honestly say it has been a pleasure doing business with him and I wish him a happy and long retirement.

I remember him taking over the position from his predecessor the late Don Jendon and thinking at the time will he fit into his shoes. Well I can honestly say that not only did he do a good job, but he alone has kept the Blackfriars banner flying. Though competition has been fierce he fought his corner with great success.

Ron's name is always mentioned with great affection by all his customers and I feel that he will be sorely missed.
