Comet md steps down

Comet managing director Hugh Harvey has left the business after five years "to pursue interests outside the group", the company announced yesterday.

Bob Darke, who has been with Comet for more than 10 years, will take over the position with immediate effect.

Comet is owned by Kesa Electricals and has 248 stores across the UK.
