Burdens appoints new managing director

Published: 24 January 2014
Wolseley UK has appointed Keith Dorling to the newly-created position of managing director of Burdens.
Starting as a member of the Wolseley UK Leadership Team on February 17, Mr Dorling will focus on delivering Burdens' growth plans and fulfilling its objective of becoming a market leader in below-ground drainage for the civil and utilities markets.

Mr Dorling has extensive executive-level experience across the contract, product and services sectors. He has a proven track record of driving market expansion and delivering impressive revenue growth for the businesses he has led, most recently at Interserve, where he was managing director, civil government.

Steve Ashmore, managing director of Wolseley UK, said: "With the foundations now in place at Burdens, the business deserves a leader fully dedicated to it. This will best position us to deliver our growth agenda and ensure we are best positioned to take advantage of the exciting opportunities we believe will emerge in the future."
