British Coatings Federation names new regulatory affairs manager
He succeeds Hugh Williams who, after more than 20 years in the role, is retiring in April 2015.

Mr Fielding has been closely involved in the coatings industry supply chain throughout his career, and brings with him a wealth of experience in coatings research and development, having spent 18 years at the Valspar Corporation based in Spain, Switzerland, Australia and the UK.

He also has nine years of coatings commercial experience from working for IMCD and more recently Ashland.

BCF ceo Tom Bowtell commented: "We're delighted to have Trevor on board and look forward to him continuing and developing Hugh's work in the field of regulatory affairs. Trevor's appointment comes at a good strategic time for the BCF, and his excellent skill set will help us manage the many regulatory challenges ahead."
