Altecnic steps up its customer care with new appointment
Mr Skinner's appointment came as a direct response to increased demand for the firm's accredited plumbing products and technical support. He joins the operations team with more than 33 years of experience in the plumbing industry.

Part of his new role will be to apply his knowledge and understanding of technical committees, standards and the product approval process to provide Altecnic customers with expert advice and technical support.

Mr Skinner said: "There's an industry wide problem at the moment where the drive to cut down on costs is leading to substandard plumbing products coming onto the market. It's important plumbers are aware of the problems that can arise from installing poorly manufactured products.

"I'm looking forward to using my new role at Altecnic to talk to customers about the installation and maintenance benefits of using fully accredited and compliant products which meet current UK regulations."

Mr Skinner will be responsible for developing and implementing improved process control and streamlining customer communications.
