Tracey Weston takes up role of stock and order co-ordinator between Abus' UK wholesale partners HOPPE and Toolbank.
Ms Weston, who joined Abus as a PA in 2009, will also work as mediator for all distribution quotations and enquiries.
According to the company, despite having no previous lock experience, Ms Weston has proven an indispensable asset to Andy Mace's UK service department. She is now fully conversant with how to master key and pin up padlocks suites for both the Abus padlock & Abus Pfaffenhain cylinder suites.
The Abus UK sales team has also seen the benefit of Ms Weston's wider role as she now co-ordinates the marketing requirements of the company. Her role fulfilling the sales team's requirements for merchandising goods, POS, and price lists is said to have become a vital part of the Abus UK service.
