Survey reveals that 84% of consumers believe bathroom retailers should offer flexible opening times.
What customers want
A recent survey, conducted by bathroom distributor Ideal Bathrooms found that 84% of consumers felt it was important for a bathroom showroom to have flexible opening times to help fit in with their shopping patterns.

Ideal Bathrooms suggests taking customers' comments such as these on board in times of tough trading. "When things are tight and opening seven days a week is too expensive - consider closing on a couple of quiet days... instead of cutting down on the times when most people are available to come in."

The survey, which asked 2,000 customers what they wanted from their retail showroom also revealed that more than 79% felt it important that the bathroom retailer offer installation.

90% wanted bathroom retailers to offer technical information, while 87% wanted to shop local and see a good showroom.

Finally, 77% said they thought it was important for retailers to give inspiration and 84% wanted their bathroom designed.

Ideal added: "Sometimes it is good to take the opportunity to remind ourselves of what it is that is important to our customers so that we can take action to respond to market conditions and customer demands."
