Wake Up to the dangers of carbon monoxide and fire, homeowners told

Published: 1 June 2007
Wake Up, a campaign urging homeowners to take all possible precautions to make sure they have early warning of a fire or carbon monoxide in their homes, launches today.
Sponsored by members of the fire prevention industry and backed by politicians and media personalities, the campaign promises to be hard hitting and direct.

It uses the press and direct mail to inform the public about the dangers of smoke inhalation and carbon monoxide poisoning, and provide advice via the website www.wakeup-campaign.org, which will be up and running by Wednesday June 6, 2007.

Also behind the campaign is FireAngel, the Coventry-based safety technology company.
