United Housewares Merchants wound up

Published: 26 August 2014
Housewares and DIY products wholesaler United Housewares Merchants has been wound up.
The West Country business dealt in a range of housewares products along with hand and power tools, plumbing and electrical equipment, paint and garden supplies.

The company was founded by Charles Burton in 1968, but most recently was owned and run by John and Shirley Richards. The other directors were David Allitt and Nihal Singh Sohi.

A final meeting of the company's creditors was held earlier this month.
