Topps Tiles has said it expects to report a 2% increase in UK revenues for the 53 weeks to October 2, 2010.
In a trading update released today, the company said it expects to see revenues in the region of £182.4m, up 2% from 2009, when revenues reached £178.8m in the UK.

When restated on a same reporting week basis, the total revenues will be broadly flat compared to 2009, said the update, while like-for-like revenues from UK stores are expected to show an increase of 1.7%, compared to a 13.1% decline last year.

Q4 revenues are expected to have increased by around 3.1% compared with the same period in 2009, with like-for-likes increasing by around 4%.

The board expects adjusted pre-tax profit for the 53-week period to be within the range of analysts' estimates, which is between £14.5m and £17.1m.

The group is currently trading from a total of 313 stores in the UK, having opened 12 and closed or relocated eight during the period.

The board will announced preliminary results for the period on Tuesday, November 30.
