Toolstation has been revealed as one of four companies shortlisted to win this year's Which? Retailer of the Year title.
John Lewis, AO.com and Liz Earle are the other retailers in the running for the accolade - one of nine in total in the consumer champion's tenth annual Which? Awards.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on May 25, with some of the country's top brands vying for the title of, among others, Which? Supermarket of the Year, Which? Home Appliance Brand of the Year and Which? Trusted Trader of the Year along with Which? Retailer of the Year.
"The Which? Awards celebrate brands that succeed because they put consumers at the heart of their business," commented Which? group chief executive Peter Vicary-Smith.
"For our tenth Which? Awards we are looking to reward businesses that deliver excellent products and services, and those that seek to change things and innovate to consistently deliver more for their customers."
The shortlist is compiled by Which? experts and feedback from Which? members and the general public throughout the year.
