The app allows customers with Nokia mobile phones to shop for groceries while out and about. Smaller homewares items available in store can also be purchased via the application, which is free to download from Nokia's Ovi Store.

Nokia's head of services marketing (UK) Rupert Englander said: "We are delighted to bring this great, convenient app to the Ovi store. The Tesco grocery app is perfect for busy, modern lifestyles and is sure to make a real difference to shopping habits of Nokia users."
