Stax to head up GIMA day conference

Published: 9 October 2015
Delegates at next month's GIMA day conference will hear from Stax Trade Centres managing director, David Hibbert, about how the business has adapted to meet demand in the garden side of its business.
Stax has grown into one of the UK's biggest non-food cash & carry wholesaler and trade suppliers. Mr Hibbert will talk delegates through the changes the business has made, particularly over the past five years, to cope with the distribution demands for its growing gardening category.

The GIMA day conference will take place on Wednesday, November 4 at Melbicks Garden Centre in Coleshill, where attendees will also hear from Kingfisher Bonnington Plastics about how it is successfully tackling IP infringement and online counterfeiters.

After winning several legal cases recently, Kingfisher Bonnington Plastics is keen to share its experience and spread the word about how it's winning the battle against online counterfeiters. Its legal team will provide delegates with practical tools to help them do the same.

Kidwells Solicitors director of client HR Rebecca Hardy will also provide an update on the latest changes to HR legislation, including the recent EU Working Time Directive changes.

The day conference is open to anyone who wishes to attend, with GIMA members benefiting from subsidised rates.
