Shurtape launches T-Rex Brute Force in UK

Published: 8 September 2021 - Neil Mead

Shurtape’s latest addition to the T-Rex range, Brute Force tape, is launching in the UK, after being tested for strength by a World’s Strongest Man*.

Brian Shaw, former holder of World’s Strongest Man title, put T-Rex Brute Force tape through a series of lift and strength tests. T-Rex Brute Force outperformed all 19 other premium duct tapes of similar strength claims - by more than 50 per cent.

Brian was able to lift a 700lb concrete block with just ONE LOOP of T-Rex Brute Force.

Made with patented Forge-Link Technology, the cloth tape is too tough to tear by hand. It is a high tack double thickness adhesive that can stick to uneven and dirty surfaces and is UV resistant, so suitable for outdoor use.

Jason Burns, Shurtape, comments: “Brian was the perfect person to test the strength of T-Rex Brute Force , just as we launch it here in the UK. We are delighted at how well the tape performs and look forward to working closely with all our customers to bring this remarkable product to market.”

Shurtape will be supporting the UK launch of T-Rex Brute Force with a proactive marketing campaign, point of sale materials and a tour of builders’ merchants in London and Manchester.
