Briwax owners, the Bollom family, head for retirement, selling company and brands to competitor Rustins Limited.
Rustins acquires Briwax International
Rustins national sales manager Ian Slater said of the news: "We are excited to add such a prestigious brand of wax polishes to our woodcare range. Rustins and Briwax have family-owned traditions with the same values and supply high quality products to both the tradesman and DIY enthusiast. We look forward to combined administration and logistics to make it easier for merchants to stock Briwax."

Briwax's Martin and Tony Bollom, who sold the company, added: "We feel we have taken the brand as far as we can, and look forward to seeing Briwax grow with Rustin's infrastructure behind it. Our family has been manufacturing and distributing Briwax for over 50 years and, as we are going to retire, we wish Rustins all the very best in the future, and believe they are the right company to drive it."
