Retailers put in an Olympic effort at trade show

Published: 30 January 2012
The recent Decco McMinn Olympics-themed trades show saw more than 300 independent retailers take advantage of exclusive 'Gold Medal' offers available from at least 90 leading exhibitors.
Decco branch manager Liam Hyland said: "We were delighted to learn our attendance numbers were up by 10% this year, it's always great to see so many retailers recognising the value of our local trade show."

Plenty of games-themed prizes were up for grabs during the show. These included two Olympic Wii consoles, which were won by Simon Hayes of Ron Hayes and Son, and Laurel Robson of Brackenbury. Two prizes of £100 worth of sports vouchers were won by Geoff Baker from W C Baker and by M&S Enterprises' Sanjay Patel.
