Published: 26 April 2011
Dulux is introducing 25% recycled content plastic cans across its range of emulsion paint from May.

The cans have been through rigorous tests to ensure the technical performance is maintained, says the company, and the initiative will help reduce the carbon footprint of each can by approximately 19%.

The new cans will be rolled out across Akzo Nobel's Dulux and Cuprinol retail and trade ranges, which will affect up to 20 million tins in total.
