Reality show planned for gardening sector

Published: 24 April 2009
ITV and bloominggoodjobs.com team up to create TV programme that will get people working within the garden industry.
The reality-type show is said to be a cross between The Apprentice and Deal or No Deal and is designed to get work for people within the gardening, horticulture and environmental industries.

Shiver Productions is seeking companies willing to offer a week's work to each contestant so they can be assessed for suitability - and hopefully even offer a permanent job to the winner at the end.

The twist is that all contestants will be trained and have experience in other industries so, a banker or builder could be competing against accountants or sales reps for the job of landscaper working in a nursery.

Companies with suitable vacancies should expect excellent publicity as the film crews will be spending extensive time filming the candidates and employers over a couple of months.

For more information or if you have a suitable vacancy and would like to be involved, please contact Bloominggoodjobs.com marketing manager, David Kemp at davidjkemp@bloominggoodjobs.com
