The new line is12 new colors – an array of blue, green and earth-toned tints that celebrate humans’ innate desire to connect with nature.

“Our ‘Biophilic Vibe’ collection complements PPG’s 2020 Color of the Year, Chinese Porcelain, in that all of the colors elicit a sense of calmness,” said Hendekea Azene, PPG global business director, industrial coatings. “In a time when technology seems to take over every aspect of our lives, these colors help connect us back to nature, bringing a bit of the outdoors in through the use of colour. The entire line is available in a range of nonstick coatings to help bring convenience and calm to the kitchen.”

PPG acquired Whitford, a global manufacturer that specialises in low-friction and nonstick coatings for industrial applications and consumer products in March 2019, a range of versatile, effective nonstick and decorative coatings for every level of the housewares market.
