New home for Home Decor

Published: 3 January 2013
Doors supplier Home Decor has started the new year in a brand new home - Woodhouse Mill in Sheffield.

The company, which manufacturers over 400,000 doors a year, says its new premises are 25% bigger than its old facility at Beighton Road, Drakehouse. The new building has been tailormade for Home Decor's own door manufacturing, as well as its supplying of hardware for the manufacture of more than a million doors across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The development was delivered "at break neck speed" according to Home Decor, because of plans to demolish the old site to make way for a new Asda. It's a significant investment for the company, originally owned by Stanley Tools, which has introduced new plant, manufacturing processes and flows as well as a purpose-built interactive showroom.

Home Decor's ceo Max Crosby-Browne said: "We are incredibly excited with our new premises which will allow us to increase our efficiency and, in turn, significantly grow our turnover, providing a boost to the local economy."
