M&S goes international

Published: 18 November 2008
Marks & Spencer has launched an international delivery service giving potentially millions of customers access to its home accessories range through the internet.
M&S goes international
The service will deliver to France, Germany, Spain, the United States, Canada, Australia as well as New Zealand, which according to M&S, makes them the first major retailer to deliver there.

It will not include furniture, kitchens, technology, electricals, wine and food, but will have selected items from the M&S home range.

It cost £10 to France, Germany and Spain, £20 to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand through Royal Mail and Parcel Force.
M&S will process the orders through their website www.marksandspencer.com

Carl Leaver, director of international, home and direct, said: "We're excited to be delivering something really special to consumers overseas and have deliberately selected markets where we currently don't have stores, but where we know through extensive feedback, there is a demand for our goods."
