Job Vacancy - Key Account Executive - Barrettine Products

Within this role the Key Account Executive will be working closely with the Divisional Director to drive Barrettine brand sales and develop and target strategic accounts.


The Key Account Executive would work closely with Marketing and Lead R&D to develop both product & the brand.

In addition there are opportunities for mentoring / personal development and potentially advancement for the right candidate.

The Key Account Executive will be part of a close working team collaborating together on shared goals for the business and making a real difference.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage large customer accounts for the company and build relationships with key personnel
  • Development and introduction of NPD to the business & launch to the customer base
  • Taking a proactive approach to account management
  • Management of existing Sales & Margin mix within your accounts, with a focus on business growth
  • Develop, agree and execute annual Joint Business Plans to deliver the agreed business growth
  • Compilation & delivery of branded customer presentations
  • Network with national account customers at all levels in order to maximize all business opportunities
  • Holding regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Holding regular update meetings and quarterly business reviews to assess opportunities for sales
  • Works closely with the Marketing team to develop promotions, POS, NPD and account strategies
  • Conduct regular store visits to better understand Retailer / Competitor initiatives within the market (Product / Price / Promos / POS / Location / etc)
  • Investigating and resolving account queries and issues raised on national accounts
  • Control of account budgets and debts
  • Fully embrace and deliver against the company principals and core values
  • Communicate forecasts to Operations team and ensures orders are fulfilled
  • Creating robust and accurate forecasting plans
  • Negotiation and securing of Annual Trading Agreements

Key Skills Required:

  • A multidisciplinarian with wide business experience
  • Over 5 Years sales/new business experience in major retail and trade outlets
  • Taken a lead role in NPD and product launches
  • Flair and ability to spot a product gap/opportunity & get it to market
  • Self starter with a drive to succeed
  • A natural problem solver with determination to see a goal through
  • Seeking mentoring & personal development to senior level positions
  • Personality fit with the company - integrity, openness, collaborative, extra mile

Job Types Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

Additional pay: Bonus scheme benefits: Company car, Company pension, On-site parking Experience: Sales - 5 years (preferred)
