Ironmongery Direct orders up 26% since relocation

Published: 29 October 2012
Since Ironmongery Direct moved to its premises in Basildon a year ago the company has reported that new customers are up 26% on last year and on track to recruit 60,000 new customers this year alone.
The new site's layout has meant the business is "optimised to help build on further operating efficiencies," according to managing director Wayne Lysaght-Mason.

Further milestone events have followed for the company this year, including its first radio and TV campaign and the development of a mobile site. The company has also introduced its new "Masters of our Trade" strapline.

Mr Lysaght-Mason added: "This has been a fantastic year at the new premises. The staff worked really hard for the move to run smoothly and then we've continued to go from strength to strength by growing our team to maintain the high level of service offered."
