The event, which takes place this year in Stockholm, June 8-9, has as its theme A Disruptive World - New Trends in Home Improvement.

One of the event's sessions will bring together three of the most important analysts in our industry to explore how this revolution is changing the market.

Prof Dr Thomas Roeb of the University Bonn-Rhein-Sieg in Germany will talk on Why BauMax and Praktiker disappeared - Why did they fail?, while Reinier Zuydgeest, managing consultant DIY & installation at USP Marketing Consultancy in The Netherlands will look at Key European Trends in Home Improvement.

Finally, US DIY Market: Emerging Trends in Current Recovery and New Insights within eCommerce is the subject from Mark Herbek, senior research analyst and partner with Cleveland Research Company, USA.

Other key speakers on a range of topics this year include Bunnings CEO John Gillam, Kingfisher CEO Veronique Laury and Google retail director John Gerosa.

The event is jointly hosted by the two leading European DIY organisations, European DIY-Retail Association (EDRA) and European Federation of DIY Manufacturers (Fediyma), in partnership with the Global Home Improvement Network (GHIN).

Register to attend now at http://diysummit.org/; an early bird offer is available until March 15.
