GIMA annual general meeting to focus on recession

Published: 13 March 2009
The Garden Industry Manufactures Association GIMA's annual general meeting will focus on telling members how to survive the recession and move with modern technology.
The event will be held on March 26 at the Henley Golf and Country Club in Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire.

Speakers on the day will include the British Retail Consortiums director general Stephen Robertson who will outline the current situation for the DIY sheds and other multiples and where the future is going.

Management Today columnist Alistair Dryburgh will offer a range of provocations and new ideads to set you thinking in new directions.

Staphanie Slinn and Richard Garlick, both senior associates with top 60 law firm Clarke Willmott, will advise on the insolvency process and how to avoid it.

There will also be a GIMA update on new products, services and other benefits available to members.
