Gaggia UK sponsors Britain’s Best Retailer Training & Support award
Britain's Best Retailer Training & Support award recognises and celebrates outstanding examples of standards of professionalism, best practice, and excellence in the training and development of individuals and teams across the diy, garden and housewares market sectors.

The awards will take place at The Hilton Manchester Deansgate on Wednesday November 7 in a glittering presentation ceremony supported by key industry figures.

Raj Beadle, managing director at Gaggia UK commented: "Training is a big part of our business, and we have always been involved in training retailers.

"We set up café academy for our products about five years ago, and now conduct training on a regular basis for store staff and for the general public."

He continued: "From a standing start seven or eight years ago we estimate we have trained some 5,000 people, and currently we are working with a training organisation to develop a skilled qualification.

"It's not only something of a natural progression for us but also an opportunity to give something back to the industry. By sponsoring the award, we believe we are doing so and, furthermore, encouraging training."
