ERA achieves Investors in People gold accreditation

Published: 24 July 2018 - Kiran Grewal

Home security experts, ERA, has achieved the prestigious Investors in People Gold accreditation.

The Investors in People standard, which ERA first achieved in 2014, measures how well an organisation meets three key criteria, namely leading, supporting and improving, through a performance model of progression. ERA’s Gold accreditation indicates even higher performance in people management, which is bench-marked against global industry practice.

Human Resources director at ERA, Nicky Purba explained: "We have worked hard to ensure that ERA’s core values are embedded throughout the entire business and inform every decision we make.

"We lead by example and actively encourage open communication via regular staff meetings with elected departmental representatives and senior management. This has enabled us to empower our team to make decisions and to act upon them with confidence.

"In addition, we can see a direct correlation to business performance and Investors in People. It has enabled us to recruit high calibre personnel which has in turn improved our productivity.

"With Investors in People running through everything we do, our approach to customers reflects the positive environment in which our team works. Our people are integral to our success and behind every ERA product, you’ll find our people."

CEO at ERA, Darren Waters said: "The Investors in People Gold accreditation is a great achievement for everyone at ERA and demonstrates our desire to continually improve as a business. Our people are absolutely key to that process, they make it happen."
