End of the road for Cheltenham cookshop

Published: 11 September 2012
A Cheltenham cookshop ceased trading this weekend, having fallen victim to reduced customer spending and this year's poor weather.
Richard Halson and his wife Melodie Robson have run Cook's Kitsch-in in Bath Road for eight years. But a combination of the harsh economic climate, poor sales during the Olympics, bad weather and the arrival of Lakeland in the town two years ago has made it impossible for the business to continue.

Three members of staff have lost their jobs as a result of the shop's closure.
