Concerned 5-year-old draws up 'missing' posters for stolen Koi Carp

A five-year-old boy was so upset after hearing about the ten stolen Koi Carp from Squire's in Badshot Lea that he decided to draw 'missing' posters to try and help find the fish.

As a thank you, the staff at Squire's invited Harry Morgan and his parents to come and have a private tour of their Pets & Aquatics Centre followed by a complimentary cream tea. The garden centre is now displaying one of Harry's posters next to the tank from which the fish were stolen.
The burglary took place on Friday, March 10 during the evening. The ten Koi Carp and one Steurgeon stolen in the raid were worth more than £7,000.
Said Harry's dad Steve Morgan, “Harry was absolutely devastated about the missing fish. He loves coming to see them at Squire’s Garden Centre, so he spent all evening drawing missing posters. He really enjoyed his afternoon at Squire’s and was very excited to get the chance to handle some of the animals.”
Harry, who attends All Saints Infant School in Tilford, added, “I hope the fish come back.”
Deputy Chairman Sarah Squire commented, “Harry’s drawings of the missing fish are so sweet and thoughtful. Everyone at Squire’s was very touched by his kind gesture, so we invited him for a private tour of our new Pets & Aquatics Centre to thank him for his efforts. We are still very concerned about the welfare of the fish, as they require a large pond or facility with well-filtered oxygenated water. We urge people to come forward if they have any information.”
