Published: 13 October 2015
British shower tray manufacturer JT, which is already outstripping average growth in its sector, has now won a big contract with a prestigious London City Island development.
Big contract boosts British shower tray company
The Leeds-based firm has seen an increase in production and overall sales, with growth of 20% - four times greater than the 2015 market average.

Now, the company has signed a deal to supply 1,450 apartments in the high-rise residential scheme in the capital with its low-profile range of JTFusion trays.

Founded in 1988, JT now makes more shower trays than any other company in the UK, producing around 7,000 units a week. It was the first company to launch low-profile trays in the UK, which now account for over 50% of all sales. This year, the firm also picked up the award for the Shower Brand of the Year at the industry's BKU Awards.

To meet ever-growing demand from UK and international customers, JT has financed a six-figure capital investment in its production site and an extension of its night shift working, which will grow capacity and productivity.
