David Williams has been appointed as manager of Blooms Swindon Garden Centre.
Mr Williams will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the centre, which is part of The Garden Centre Group.

He said: "I am delighted to have been appointed as Blooms Swindon Garden Centre's manager and I am excited to be joining the garden centre's established team. I have been working in the horticultural industry for more than 15 years and have previous managerial experience. I have acquired a wealth of knowledge from working in the industry during this time and I look forward to applying this experience to a new setting."

Mr Williams has previously worked as manager at a number of garden centres in the Group, including Chilton Garden Centre in Oxfordshire and Dorking Garden Centre in Surrey.

He is an avid supporter of Worcestershire County Cricket Club and regularly attends the club's matches.

Regional manager for the Group Chris Francis said: "I would like to welcome David to Blooms Swindon Garden Centre and congratulate him on his new position. I look forward to working with him in the future."
