The tool brand has broken the world record for making the world's biggest spade.
Built to celebrate the Yoeman's 21st anniversary, the spade is 12ft 9in tall and has been confirmed as the world's biggest by Guinness World Record officials. The spade is 11 inches longer than the previous record holder.

Yeoman celebrated its new world record by creating 90 replica spades, 70 of which are on display in garden centres across the UK including Earlswood Nurseries whose spade has been placed in the heart of the store;s garden tools display.

Yeoman's brand manager Robert Giles said: "We are thrilled that our world record attempt has been confirmed. A lot of hard work, thought and careful construction went into making sure we achieved our aim. It is a great way to start off the year, and celebrate 21 years of continuing success at Yeoman."
