With a current fundraising total in excess of £20,000, the company will help sponsor the new Shaun in the City project next year.

The new initiative featuring Shaun the Sheep follows on from last year's Gromit Unleashed Art Trail, which saw 80 giant, individually-designed Gromit sculptures positioned throughout Bristol. This time, 120 giant Shaun the Sheep sculptures decorated by artists and celebrities will be placed in Bristol and London to create two art trails.

Yankee Candle will sponsor two of the sheep, all of which will eventually be auctioned to raise money for sick children in hospitals across the UK.

Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal has raised over £27m for the Bristol children's hospital.
