The UK's largest garden centre chain, Wyevale has changed its name in what promises to be a massive re-branding exercise for the company.
The centres will now trade under the banner The Garden Centre Group. An automated message on the main company switchboard already reflects the change and Companies House records the change as having taken place last week on July 21.
The company's website has also removed any reference to the Wyevale brand, despite its web address: www.wyevale.co.uk.
The move reflects the increasing number of leading independents now owned by the group which trade under their own names.
No one at The Garden Centre Group was available for comment.
