The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) has attracted another major garden brand in the form of William Sinclair Horticulture as its newest member
William Sinclair produces the well-known J. Arthur Bower's, New Horizon, Growing Success and Deadfast brands of composts, garden chemicals and aggregates.

The firm's new commercial director Richard Carr, who joined from Hozelock, said: "Great things are happening at William Sinclair as we increase our share of the growing media category and building sales across all channels in what is a changing retail scene. Joining BHETA is a great way of developing additional networking and retail engagement opportunities as we expand our traditional areas of interest."

BHETA's home improvement sector director, Peter Stone commented: "Sinclair is a great garden brand, which is yet again very good news for BHETA that it can attract this sort of company. Sinclair adds to our existing presence in the garden retail and horticulture markets and we look forward to welcoming other great brands from the garden sector as time goes on."
